These Terms govern your use of the Ghar Buddy mobile application.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Ghar Buddy. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. What the app does
Ghar Buddy helps you track kitchen inventory, receive expiry cues, get recipe suggestions, plan meals, restock groceries, and optionally share a daily plan with someone you choose. The app uses AI to assist with identifying food from photos and generating suggestions.
3. AI accuracy and food safety
AI estimates of item identity and shelf life are guidance only and may be wrong. Always use your own judgement before eating. We are not liable for illness, loss, or harm from relying solely on the app’s estimates or recipes.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate setup information and keep your account up to date.
- Only submit photos you have the right to share; avoid other people or sensitive documents in scans.
- If you share a daily plan, confirm you have permission to use the recipient’s contact details for that purpose.
- Use the app for personal household purposes — not unauthorised commercial redistribution.
5. Account & termination
You may delete your account in the app or by contacting support@gharbuddy.co.in. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, misuse AI features, or interfere with normal operation.
6. Intellectual property
The app, design, curated content, and related materials are property of KK TECH SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. You retain ownership of custom content you add, and grant us a licence to store and display it back to you in the app.
7. Third-party services
The app integrates third-party services (hosting, auth, AI, SMS OTP, video platforms, grocery websites). Sharing may use WhatsApp or your device’s share sheet. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghar Buddy and KK TECH SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including food spoilage, incorrect AI identification, or miscommunication via sharing features. The app is provided “as is”.
9. Changes
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the app or on our website. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
